Sells £1 million of quality, previously enjoyed cars, in one weekend and reduces missed service appointments by 97%
The Mitchell Group of Cheshire Oaks today announces that its latest quality used car marketing campaign proved a stunning success and generated unprecedented revenues of £1 million in the space of 3 days thanks in large measure to RelayStation's Email and SMS broadcasting services.
The marketing campaign brought together a mix of traditional and digital marketing techniques. A flyer was sent initially to a database of 14,000 existing customers in late September inviting them to a special car sale event at the Mitchell Group's Lexus, Mazda and Skoda dealership. A few days later, customers were sent a follow-up email and text message using RelayStation's SMS broadcasting services reminding them of the event and encouraging them to bring the family, neighbours and colleagues along.
"This is the first time that the Mitchell Group has integrated Email and text broadcasting into its marketing campaigns, and with sales worth £1 million, their impact is remarkable," says the motor groups after sales manager, Mick Mills. "We've never sold 90 cars in one weekend before and RelayStation's broadcasting services proved to be the powerhouse."
The Mitchell Group has since integrated RelayStation's email and text broadcasting services into other operations sending service reminders to customers and has seen a 97% reduction of missed service appointments as a result.
